Brazilian Zouk · Lambada · Forró
Nicki Pepper
Victoria-born dancer, a lifetime in the studio, now deep in Brazilian Zouk, Lambada and Forró.
Nicki Pepper J is a Victoria, BC-born dancer who has been immersed in dance since the age of three, growing up in the studio and training across many styles. As an adult, she found her way into shuffling and free styling, eventually leading to teaching choreography and performing at electronic music festivals and alongside local bands.
Over the past five winters, Nicki has travelled throughout Central and South America, developing a deep love for Latin culture and dance. What began with exploring salsa and bachata in Costa Rica and Mexico eventually led her to Brazil in 2023, where she quickly fell into the Congress world and discovered a passion for Brazilian Zouk, Lambada, and Forró. She has since continued training and travelling in Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico, diving deep into Latin dance, and is excited to be teaching again in her hometown while continuing to develop as a dancer.
