- Otherworld
- Taught an intro to Brazilian Zouk Class with Julia Sands. @hooliasands
Eight years dancing. I teach Brazilian Zouk, Salsa and Bachata in Victoria, BC.
Brazilian Zouk is the one most people here have not met yet. It is flowing, led through the whole body rather than pushed through the arms, and it tends to be the one people come back for. Victoria is early to it, which makes now a good time to start.
My classes assume you arrived alone and have never done this before, because most people did. You are not expected to turn up knowing anything. Getting you there is the fun part.
Background
- Eight years
- Dancing since 2018.
- New York & Puerto Rico
- Performed with Salsa Caliente.
What I teach
Three dances, one you probably have not tried.
- Brazilian Zouk
- My current addiction. I began in Barcelona, before spending two months completely consumed by the scene in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
- Salsa
- Learned here in Victoria with Salsa Caliente, then years of travelling to events and festivals around the world.
- Bachata
- Learned in Spain, where the modern, sensual style took shape.
